A truly inspiring story!
- We would like to share a truly inspirational story about our friend Matt Klusza. Like most of us Matt also owns an iPhone, but he has a hearing disability.
- Matt recently came across the KnockingLive Video app on iTunes. After giving the app a shot, he loved it and wanted to share this with the hearing impaired community. So here is a short video of him saying hello!
- Over the next weeks we will continue to make many more enhancements to the application to make it more user friendly for this community. We are currently working on releasing KnockingLive for Android and with this user will be able to share videos cross platforms, live and instantly.
- We are glad to be part of this communication revolution!
Email invitations functionality temporarily disabled
- We have released KnockingLive Video 1.1, an update to our software which has increased performance. The feedback has been extremely positive as people are sharing live video around the world iPhone to iPhone.
- The email invitation issue has been reported regarding “iPhone Contacts” feature. This feature is not allowing users the option to invite individuals or invite their entire contact list. Many users requested the option to send to all contacts with one tap. Other users requested the option to select one at a time from their contacts list. Our intentions is to provide both options. The issue is that when tapping on iPhone contacts the second screen is not appearing.
- This was not our intention and the function will be fixed. For now the all invite functionality will be temporarily disabled as we resolve this issue.
- Please note we are very sensitive to your privacy.
- We are working 24/7 to make knocking the best mobile to mobile sharing experience. Thank you for your feedback and support.

*** Please read these Important Tips before Updating to Knocking™ Live Video Version 1.1 ***
- Version 1.0 will no longer work without update
- You do not need to create a new account if you have already installed Knocking™ live video version 1.0
- Only new users need to create a new account
- You can use your existing username. Just tap Login and enter your previous Username. You should not lose your current friend/family buddy lists, unless your friends/family deletes their account or turns Privacy Mode ON. If your friends are missing, contact them to find out their current Username. We also recommend searching for your friends using LAST NAME or EMAIL for best results.
- When Privacy Mode is turned ON, you will not appear in the Search. For your friends to add you, you will need to turn Privacy Mode OFF to appear in the Search.
- Knocking™ Live Video streaming performace will vary based on your 3G carrier’s network. For North American customers, we recommend reporting 3G coverage issues to AT&T using their Mark the Spot App.

- KnockingLive video depends on your carriers network coverage. This will vary depending on your location and 3G coverage.
- While KnockingLive does connect at times on the the Edge network it is not recommended.
- KnockingLive video requires OS 3.1 or later. If you are unable to download please make sure to update your iPhone.
- Please know that connections will depend on your carriers network and due to this performance may vary.

KnockingLive Video launches. Joins KnockingLive Pic sharing
Working on better connections for you all. It has been an exciting first two days for the team at Knocking Live Video. We could never have anticipated the unprecedented response to the first live video broadcast app. Anyone with a 3G or 3Gs iPhone can now share live video direct from phone to phone, with no uploads or time limits. It’s hard to imagine that this app almost didn’t make it to the iPhone. But thanks to our partner Brian, and to Steve Jobs, the world is beginning to knock.
- Knocking video almost never happened. The app had been rejected by Apple’s review process! After Brian submitted our app to iTunes, we were “crushed” when we received the rejection email from Apple . It was cryptic and impersonal. And there was no one to talk to, no one to clarify what we had to do to get it approved. But Brian didn’t give up. Finally after a month of wondering why our app didn’t make it through the approval process, Brian decided to write Steve Jobs a very personal email. He told Steve about the testing crew and our families’ love of knocking and how it had changed the way we were communicating. The email was sent out 11 days ago. Two days after the email was sent to Jobs, Brian got a call from someone in Apple’s upper management. One day later, the app was approved. We went wild. So Steve and Apple do care about the process and we are proof. Now Apple iTunes is host to a worldwide phenomenon.
- We want to thank all who have downloaded Knocking Live Video as well as Knocking Live Pic Sharing. We appreciate your support and your patience as we work to improve the knocking experience. The overwhelming response of people sharing video over the past two days has caused some problems which we are working hard to solve. We expect to be able to provide a great experience very shortly, so if you can’t connect right away try again after awhile. After months of development work, weeks of rigorous testing; coordination between teams across two continents, hundreds of mail exchanges Knocking ™ Live Pic, our new baby, is NOW live, and available for all iPhone users to download from iPhone App Store.
