Stake Holder in E Shram Ministry of Labour and Employment 

The Ministry of Labour and Employment is the nodal agency and responsible for policy formulation and implementation of the scheme at the national level. The ministry will keep a national oversight on the activities and evidence and lead the schemes.

Ministry of Electronics and Information 

Technology A competent committee named Project Steering Committee will be formed under the chairmanship of Secretary. It will be responsible for project coordination. It will also help in resolving various issues. And it will also monitor the implementation of NDWU.

National Informatics Center 

NIC is the project execution agency for NDWU project. NIC will also assist in design and development for project implementation. The complete ICT solution will also be provided by NIC for this project.

State/UT Government 

The state and UT governments are the primary feeders and users of NDWU platform. The state and UT governments will take responsibility for implementation in their respective states. The governments will register all beneficiaries and provide awareness to citizens about the benefits.

Line Ministries/Department of Central Government 

The central government ministries and departments are also stakeholders for the unorganized workers under their monitoring. All government and their departments will provide data of unorganized workers under their ambit to the portal.

UIDAI 

UIDAI is an important partner of the project. UIDAI verifies through Aadhaar and completes Aadhaar based registration process from time to time. UIDAI shares all important information with the portal.

NPCI 

NPCI will provide API for verification of bank account of UW and linking Aadhaar with bank account through NDWU portal.

ESIC/EPFO 

ESIC and EPFO are also stakeholders of this portal. ESIC and EPFO will be linked with the portal through UAN. This will help in getting information related to unorganized and organized sector workers. It will also provide data of workers who are working in organized sector from unorganized sector.

CSC 

CSC provides various services under Digital India Mission through more than 3.5 lakh centers across all networks in India. CSC can enroll under various schemes as an enrollment agency.

Department of Post through Post Office 

The Department of Post operates around 1.55 lakh post offices. These post offices provide Aadhaar based services across India. The post offices will work as an enrollment agency like CSC SPV.

Bonded labor was done by the debtor or his descendants or dependents to repay their debt. This act has declared this kind of bonded labor as a crime. The bonded labor system has been abolished for which an ordinance was also issued by the President.

The Code on Social Security 

The code on social security aims to provide social security to all employees and workers in organized or unorganized or other sectors. This code has amended and consolidated the laws related to social security.

The Code on Wages 

This code regulates the payment of wages and bonus in all employments where any industry, trade, business or manufacture is carried out. This code applies to all employees. The central government sets the wages for workers working in the central sector and the state government sets the wages for workers working in the state sector.

The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code
