Lenovo has unveiled its latest gaming innovation, the Lenovo Legion Go, at the IFA 2023 event in Berlin. This Windows-based handheld gaming device boasts an impressive 8.8-inch QHD+ display, offering a high 144Hz refresh rate for smoother gameplay. Powering the Legion Go are the cutting-edge AMD Ryzen Z1 processors.

Running on Windows 11 Home with Lenovo’s Legion Space software, this gaming console is ready to take on the competition. What sets it apart is the Hall Effect joysticks, designed to provide enhanced responsiveness and accuracy during gaming.

The Lenovo Legion Go is set to rival other gaming devices like the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, and Asus ROG Ally. It marks Lenovo’s entry into the world of Windows gaming handhelds, promising an exciting new player in the gaming market.

Lenovo Legion Go Takes Gaming to the Next Level:

Lenovo is stepping up its game with the Legion Go, a premium Windows gaming handheld. It’s super powerful, running on an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, backed by 16GB of super-fast LPDDR5x RAM at 7500MHz. You also get up to a 1TB SSD and support for microSD expansion. Plus, it features Lenovo’s Coldfront cooling system to keep things from overheating, and it has a power bypass mode to save battery when plugged in.

But what makes it stand out is the impressive 8.8-inch touchscreen. It boasts a Quad HD+ resolution (2560×1600) with a rapid 144Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. You can tweak settings to save power or get smoother performance, and the screen covers 97% of DCI-P3, so colors look fantastic.

The controls are top-notch too. The Legion Go offers detachable controllers, so you don’t have to hold the device while gaming. Plus, the right controller has a special base for first-person shooters, featuring an optical sensor for precise aiming. It’s loaded with buttons for added convenience.

What sets it apart even further are the Hall effect sensor joysticks, which are more durable and precise than the usual ones. They’re less prone to wear and tear and allow for almost no dead zone.

Lenovo also announced the Legion Glasses, glasses with micro-OLED displays delivering Full HD visuals at 60Hz, giving you a big-screen experience on the go. They connect via USB-C to Windows, macOS, and Android devices and come with built-in speakers for immersive audio.

And don’t forget the Lenovo Legion E510 7.1 RGB Gaming earbuds. These USB-C wired earbuds come with 10mm armature drivers and have a touch of RGB lighting on the volume controller.

The Legion Go will be available in October, priced at EUR 799 (around Rs. 70,000), with sales starting in November in Shadow Black color. For comparison, the Asus ROG Ally, with an AMD Z1 Extreme processor, is priced at Rs. 69,990 in India.

Lenovo Legion 9i: A Gaming Laptop with Water Cooling and Stunning Mini-LED Display

Lenovo is bringing back the Legion 9i as their top-tier gaming laptop. It’s lighter than many others, thanks to a clever self-contained water-cooling system developed with Cooler Master. Even with this advanced cooling, it can deliver a powerful 230W of performance while weighing just 5.64 pounds.

This gaming beast boasts impressive specs, including an Intel Core i9-13980HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. You can also load it up with a whopping 64GB of RAM. Lenovo’s LA-2 AI chip is onboard to keep things running smoothly.

But the star of the show is its 3.2K PureSight Mini-LED display, offering an excellent HDR experience with a 3200×2000 resolution and a speedy 165Hz refresh rate. It’s a treat for gamers and creators alike, featuring X-Rite software to switch between color profiles as needed.

The Legion 9i stands out with RGB lighting and a unique “forged carbon chip pattern” on the lid. Plus, it packs a massive 99.99Whr battery, the largest you’ll find in any laptop.
