This was achieved with a simple button press, utilizing the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method to deposit the funds directly into individual accounts. The recipients, who are women between the ages of 45 and 60, receive an annual assistance of Rs. 15,000 each. Notably, Mr Reddy highlighted that Kapu candidates hold 9.5% of the 2.06 lakh government jobs filled in the past four years.
