They said that Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can. The investigators said that they have found six women who were allegedly abused by the organized criminal group. Prosecutors have accused Andrew and Tristan Tate, along with two other beings, of forming an organized crime group. The group’s alleged purpose was to recruit, house, and exploit women by coercing them into creating pornographic content for a fee. On June 4th, 2023, the Tates and the other accused individuals were released from prison after a successful appeal. They were placed under house arrest by the judge. Their sentence was supposed to end on April 29th, 2023, but it was later extended for an extra 30 days. On May 19th, 2023, it was further extended for another 30 days. Criminal Investigations Against Him

On June 13, DIICOT modified the charges from human trafficking to a more serious charge called “human trafficking in continued form.” This change was accompanied by the identification of one more victim, bringing the total count to seven victims. On June 20, the four accused, including the Tate brothers, were indicted on charges of rape and human trafficking. They were charged with forming an organized crime group to exploit women. They have denied all allegations. The investigation is ongoing. They are also being looked into potential offenses of money laundering and trafficking of minors.
