In a recent press conference held on May 25th, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy proudly announced that the government’s welfare schemes have positively impacted more than 3.5 crore residents of the state. He also shared that up to May 2020, the government had disbursed a total of Rs. 40,139 crores to beneficiaries through these schemes.
Breaking it down further, Rs. 19,298 crores were provided to Backward Classes (BC) beneficiaries, Rs. 6,332 crores to Scheduled Castes (SC), Rs. 2,108 crores to Scheduled Tribes (ST) beneficiaries, and Rs. 10,472 crores to individuals from other categories.
Additionally, Chief Minister Reddy highlighted the government’s achievement of generating 400,000 job opportunities in village and ward secretariats within just four months of taking office. He took pride in the fact that over 82 percent of these jobs were secured by individuals from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities.

navasakam.ap.gov.in – Scheme ID Card Distribution Update
On June 9th, Chief Minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed officials to issue ID cards for various welfare schemes promptly. Strict measures will be taken if the cards are not provided to beneficiaries within the specified timeframe. The CM also emphasized the need to publicly display the list of beneficiaries at village or ward secretariats.
For specific ID cards, the stipulated periods are as follows:
- Rice and Pension Cards: Within 10 days
- Aarogyasri Cards: Within 20 days
- House Site Pattas: Within 90 days, including registration.
