Apple has added Discovery Station on its Apple Music. The Discovery Station continuously plays music based on the user’s listening history and preferences. It is a personalized radio station to customize a user’s listening experience.
The feature is similar to “Discover Weekly” playlist available on Spotify. However, it adds new songs from time to time.
Users can find the new option under the tab “Listen Now” in the “Stations for You” category on their Apple Music app.
How Can You Spot Discovery Station on Apple Music?
Do you want to create a “Discovery Station”? If yes, open the Apple Music app and next, tap the “Listen Now” tab.
Scroll down until you find “Stations for You” section; tap “Discovery Station”.
The station will start streaming music. You can thumb up or down songs to help Apple offer better recommendations.
Discovery Station is conceptualized on algorithms and machine learning to suggest songs that a user may prefer. The suggestion is based on the user’s personal choices and listening history.
Apple always introduces something out of the box and this time too, they will not let you down.
