The Andhra Pradesh State Government prepared a TIDCO Houses Assignment Scheme to provide eligible people with APTIDCO Housing Facility. The selection of beneficiaries will be based on their monthly income. The objective of the housing project is to construct more than 28 lakh homes by the end of this year. The total project will cost Rs 1, 08, 553 crore.

APTIDCO Housing Scheme 2023
The full form of APTIDCO is Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Centre. It is a state-level nodal organization of APTIDCO. The organization aims at building and distributing more than 28 lakh houses for selected beneficiaries.
It will be a phase-wise implementation of APTIDCO housing program. About 2.6 lakh of the around five lakh units have already been finished by TIDCO. Construction work on remaining dwelling has been shelved on due to multiple legal issues related to property purchase.
The plan includes 3 flat sizes – 300 square feet, 365 square feet and 430 square feet. Nearly 1. 43 lakh beneficiaries will get 300 square feet apartments whereas, more than 44, 000 recipients will get 365 square feet each. Each of over 74, 000 recipients would be given an apartment of 430 square feet.
Beneficiaries must make a down payment of Rs 50, 000 for a 365 square feet apartment whereas for a 430 square feet housing unit, one needs to pay Rs 1 lakh. The option of home loan is also available.
