- Go to https://ahara.kar.nic.in/ to access the official website of the Karnataka State Food Commission. Click on the link at the bottom of this page to open the portal.
- Search for the Direct Benefit Transfer portal under the Beneficiary or Schemes section.
- You can find the Anna Bhagya Scheme through the DBT website.
- The next page will direct you to fill in details like your ration card number, registered mobile number, Aadhar Number or any other information directed on the same page.
- Examine the data filled in by you and then tap either Submit option or the Check Status option.
- In the end, the scheme allows you to track the status of your bank transfer.
Process For Karnataka Ration Card DBT Amount Check Online
To check the amount of your DBT subsidy online, you need to follow these steps:
- We should open the Karnataka State Food Commission or Department of Food and Civil Supplies portal to verify the amount.
- Search for the section related to a ration card or a beneficiary section.
- Now seek the Check the ration card amount or balance option.
- On lactating, tap on it to proceed further.

Now under the e-Ration sub-menu, they can find the provision for the application and generation of new ration cards. The application will be available in two languages: Kannada and English. People can select any language as per their preference. Now do these steps:
- Once you have chosen the language option, you will be given three options: New Ration Card Request, Edit Saved Request and Application Withdrawal. If you are applying for the first time, then choose an option first, and if you want to make changes to your existing ratio card, then choose the second option. If any user wants to withdraw their application, they can use the third option.
- So if you are applying for a new ration card, click on the first option, “New Ration Card Request”.
- Then they should enter their Aadhar and mobile numbers and tap on the “Go” button.
- Now users must select One Time Password to Mobile Number registered with Aadhaar option. Post-clicking, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP received from Aadhar and captcha code, and again press “Go” button.
- Upon successfully verifying OTP and captcha code, your Aadhar details like your name, birth date, gender and photo will be flashing on screen.
- Next, user has to tap on “Finger Print Verification” option for authentication.
- They should then click “Capture” button to capture their finger’s impression using Bio Metric Device. Once you have entered captcha code click “Verify” button.
- The Aadhar details of users are exhibited on screen after successfully capturing fingerprints.
- Review your Aadhar card details on screen and tap on “Add” button to generate application number.
- Now select address and click “Next Stage” button again.
- Then system will automatically select area and fair-price shops based on code specified in address. Urban area users have to select City from Dropdown menu.
- On selecting location, further specify your ward number and area. Rural users should select Panchayat from Dropdown list and Gram Panchayat village.
- On selecting Panchayat/City, press “Next Stage” button.
- Now choose female head of family. Remember that the female head of family will be the main applicant for ration card.
- After selecting female head of family, click “Next Stage” button.
- Now enter details of other family members like name, age, gender, relation with head of family, occupation, annual income, etc. and click “Add” button.
- After adding all family members, click “Next Stage” button.
- Now upload scanned copies of required documents like address proof, identity proof, income proof, etc. and click “Next Stage” button.
- Now review your application details and make any changes if needed. Then click “Submit” button to submit your application.
- You will receive an acknowledgement slip with your application number. You can use this number to track your application status online.
- Users can also take a printout of their ration card by clicking the “Print” button.
- The authorities will send the printed copy of the Ration Cards to the selected address via speed post.
- Users have to pay Rs 70 for the service charge and the speed post fee. They will receive their ration cards within 15 days of applying online.
