According to Akis Evangelidis, co-founder of the global technology brand Nothing, India has become a vital market for the company’s growth. Evangelidis noted that 2024 has been a year of expansion for Nothing, with efforts concentrated on enhancing its smartphone lineup and incorporating advanced design and user experience innovations across different market segments.
Nothing has experienced notable success with its newest models. Counterpoint Research identified Nothing as the fastest-growing brand in India during the first half of the year, with an astounding 567 percent growth. On the day of their separate launches, the Phone (2a) and CMF Phone 1 both broke sales records, which is a big accomplishment for the business.
Nothing has expanded its offline presence to 300 service centers as part of its ambitious expansion strategy, with special locations in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. By the end of the year, Evangelidis hopes to open two more special centers.
The company has increased its offline retail presence from 2,000 to 5,000 locations, significantly expanding its already substantial online presence. Evangelidis explained, “In the initial three years, we focused on establishing our operational foundations within one of the world’s most competitive industries. What started with a focus on design differentiation has now evolved into delivering innovative user experiences in both hardware and software.
Nothing’s CEO and co-founder, Carl Pei, stated his happiness with the company’s progress and stressed that producing great goods is what leads to market share, not the ultimate aim. “This accomplishment confirms the effectiveness of our approach and strengthens our innovation drive, which will be a major priority for 2025,” Pei stated.
Nothing’s quick growth and success in India demonstrate its dedication to transforming the smartphone market via strategic market involvement and innovation.
