Hero MotoCorp has launched six new two-wheelers at on-going EICMA 2023 show in Milan, Italy. These latest launches are based on new-age concepts. These debutant two-wheelers will represent the company’s innovative prowess across different segments.
Hero MotoCrop is the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. The brand has now released three new scooters – Xoom 125R, Xoom 160 and Vida V1 Coupe – and three new bikes. In this blog, we will give a brief introduction of all the models on display at Hero’s showroom.
1. Hero Vida V1 Coupe
Vida VI Coupe, largely based on Vida VI Pro, will offer more practical utility, thereby expanding the range of the Vida VI electric scooter. The brand has transformed the seat to accommodate the pillion. If it comes to equipment and performance, VI Coupe and VI Pro are almost like twins. Some of the key features include a 7-inch TFT display, four ride modes, keyless ignition and cruise control.
2. Hero Xoom 125R
Coming out of the same den as the Xoom 110, the Xoom 125R features a more muscular body panel, which lends it a sportier appearance than its partner. It boasts of sequential turn signals, all LED lighting, an all-digit cluster with Bluetooth and navigation and on top of that, 14-inch alloy wheels. It is projected as a competitor of TVS Ntorq 125 and Suzuki Avenis 125
3. Hero Xoom 160
The Hero Xoom 160 is believed to grab more eyeballs than other debutants. It features a much talked-about maxi scooter build-up. It is a perfect adventure scooter. Like other launches mentioned above, Xoom 160 will be put on sale in India next year. Powered by a new-age 156 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, Xoom 160 will lock horns with Aprilia SXR 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155.
The model packs in some excellent features including dual LED headlamps, a fully digital cluster, a tall windscreen, telescopic front forks, 14-inch alloy wheels having block pattern tyres, sporty body graphics, dual rock shock absorbers, side-mounted exhaust, single-piece seat and a smart key etc.
This flagship model will be MotoCorp’s entry into the ‘beyond 125 cc’ segment.
4. Hero 2.5R Xtunt Concept
The stunt/street bike concept is most possibly based on the same platform as Karizma XMR, a recent launch. Xtunt Concept seems to feature the same 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that can produce about 25 bhp. The concept could bring an offspring in the form a naked streetfighter next year to give a tough fight to the likes of KTM 250 Duke, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
5. Hero Lynx Dirt e-Bike
The concept of Lynx electric dirt is heavily inspired by Lynx Cat. It features a 15 KW electric motor along with a KW battery pack. The combo keeps the bike empowered and active for nearly 60 minutes. The two-wheeler weighs only 82 kg.
6. Concept Acro
The Concept Acro is a kids-friendly electric bike. It is specially designed for the little champs. The bike features a 3-point adjustable frame to suit the kids aged from 3-9 years.
