  • Maharashtra Widow Pension Scheme: Under this scheme, economically disadvantaged widowed women in the state will receive financial assistance of ₹600 per month from the state government. If a family has more than one child, they will receive ₹900 per month as a pension. To be eligible for this scheme, the applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹21,000, and the widow should be below the age of 65. This scheme aims to provide financial support to widowed women in Maharashtra who have no other means of assistance.
  • Rajasthan Widow Pension Scheme: The Widow Pension Scheme in Rajasthan provides a monthly pension of ₹500 to women aged between 18 and 55, ₹750 to those aged between 55 and 60, ₹1,000 to those aged between 60 and 75 with an income of less than ₹75 per month, and ₹1,500 to those above 75 years. To be eligible, the family’s annual income should not exceed ₹48,000.
  • Delhi Widow Pension Scheme: The Delhi Widow Pension Scheme, initiated by the Delhi government, offers a quarterly pension of ₹2,500 to eligible widowed women. The beneficiary should be a permanent resident of Delhi, aged between 18 and 60, and their family’s annual income should not exceed ₹1,00,000. Applications can be submitted online or offline.
  • Gujarat Widow Assistance Scheme: The Gujarat Widow Assistance Scheme provides a monthly pension of ₹1,250 to widowed women in the state. Approximately 3.70 lakh widows benefit from this scheme, and the pension amount is directly transferred to their bank accounts on the 1st of each month. To qualify, the applicant’s urban area family income should be ₹1,50,000 or less.
  • Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme: The Uttarakhand Widow Pension Scheme offers a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,200 to widowed women in the state. The amount is directly transferred to the beneficiary’s account through two installments every six months. To be eligible, the woman should be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand, and her family’s annual income should not exceed ₹48,000.
