Objective of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana 2023
The main objective of Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana is to provide financial assistance to the farmer families of Jharkhand who have suffered crop loss due to drought. Under this scheme, the farmers will receive a relief amount of Rs. 3500 per farmer family for drought relief.
The state government is trying to start this work as soon as possible. In addition, the financial assistance amount provided under this scheme will be distributed through camps at the village and panchayat level.
About 30 lakh farmer families will benefit from Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana 2023. The state government has demanded financial assistance from the central government for the smooth implementation of this scheme, so that all the eligible farmers of the state can benefit from this scheme.
Benefits and Features of Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana
Considering the situation of drought in the state, Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren has launched Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana. Under this scheme, Rs. 3500 per farmer family will be provided as immediate relief for drought to 226 blocks of 22 districts of Jharkhand.
The state government is trying to provide the relief amount to these 226 blocks as soon as possible. In addition, under this scheme, the state government will provide benefits to the farmers who have suffered crop loss due to natural disasters. Instead of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Sukhad Rahat Yojana 2023 has been launched in Jharkhand state.
The registered farmers will receive the crop loss amount from the insurance company through this scheme. In addition, the amount provided under this scheme will be distributed through camps at the village and panchayat level soon. All those farmers who have not sown this year or whose crops are more than 33% affected will benefit from this scheme.
All those interested farmers who want to benefit from this scheme will have to register under this scheme first. For the operation of this work, the center has been demanded Rs. 9682 crore for relief assistance under Memorandum of Finance by Jharkhand government. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to all the farmers of Jharkhand state so that they can become self-reliant and empowered.

The person who wants to avail the benefit of this scheme must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
