Haryana Government has taken a unique initiative to provide good health and health-related services and facilities to the citizens of the state. The scheme was launched by Mrs Draupadi Murmu, the President of India, in the religious city of Kurukshetra in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. Under the scheme, 98, 13, 214 members of 24, 75, 380 Antyodaya families will undergo test and health check-up in the first phase by the government for free.

Nirogi Haryana Scheme 2023

Manohar Lal Khattar, the Chief Minister of Haryana, inaugurated Nirogi Haryana Scheme during the session budget 2022. This primary objective of the scheme was to provide health-related facilities to the people of Haryana State. Under the scheme, people of Haryana will undergo health check-up for free.

Apart from this, the government will have all the digital records of people saved so that these can be used whenever needed. To run the scheme smoothly, the government has divided it into 6 parts. In the first part, 98 lakh 13 thousand 214 people will undergo health check-up for free.

If any disease is detected during this period, the treatment for the disease will be provided free of cost. The citizens of Haryana, who are eligible for the scheme, will be relieved of having to visit hospitals for their health check-up. On top of that, all these health check-ups will be done free of cost.

Under Nirogi Haryana Scheme, Antyodaya families with annual income less than Rs 1.80 lakh or less will get the benefits of health check-up for free of cost.

Nirogi Haryana Scheme 2023: Objectives

The main objective of Nirogi Haryana Scheme, which was launched by Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, is to make health check-up available to all the citizens of Haryana for free of cost. If any individual is diagnosed with any type of disease during health check-up, he/she will receive treatment without having to pay anything. Under this scheme, the citizens of the state have been divided into 6 parts for treatment. If health check-up of all the family members is performed smoothly and according to age, infection can be checked.

In addition, special types of tests will be done after consultation with the doctor and area-wise report will be delivered in 2 days. People of Haryana will get health-related benefits through this scheme. Citizens will not have to spend money in hospitals to get health-related facilities.

It has been already mentioned that the people of Haryana have been divided into 6 parts under this scheme. According to age, more than 25 types of tests have been determined under the scheme. The divisions of people for the benefits of Nirogi Haryana Scheme 2023 are:

Nirogi Haryana Scheme Health Check-Up: Details

Under Nirogi Haryana Scheme, different coloured OPD cards will be distributed among the beneficiaries of each category. Health check-up includes complete general physical check-up, physical measurement like height, weight etc, BP, pulse, eye and teeth check-up. Under the scheme, listed category-wise tests of the beneficiaries will be done after consultation with the doctor. The report of the lab test will be handed over area wise to the patients in 2 days by ASHA and ANM

The Health Minister has said that to make this Nirogi Haryana scheme successful, the government has ensured the participation of Medical Education and Reearch Department, Women and Child Welfare Department, Education Department, AYUSH Department, Panchayati Raj Department and Urban Development and Housing Department.

In the 1^st phase, 32 medical institutions have been identified by the government. All prescribed tests and treatment will be conducted in these listed medical institutions.
