PM-KISAN 14th Installment: You Won’t Believe How Much Money You Can Get Tomorrow!

The PM KISAN scheme

If you are a farmer in India, you might be eligible for a huge cash benefit from the central government. The PM-KISAN scheme is a flagship program that provides income support to millions of farmers across the country. The 14th installment of the scheme will be released tomorrow, and you can check your beneficiary status online.

Here’s everything you need to know about the PM-KISAN scheme and how to get your money.

What is the PM-KISAN scheme?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019, with the aim of providing income support to all landholder farmer families across the country with cultivable land, subject to certain exclusions. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 6,000 per year is released in three-monthly installments of Rs 2,000 each directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

The scheme covers around 14.5 crore farmers in India, and has disbursed more than Rs 1.35 lakh crore so far. The scheme is funded by the central government and implemented by the state governments. The scheme aims to augment the income of the farmers and enhance their financial security.

How to check your beneficiary status for the 14th installment?

The 14th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme will be disbursed tomorrow, July 28, by PM Modi in a special event in Nagaur, Rajasthan. The PM will also interact with some of the beneficiaries and address the nation on the occasion.

If you are a farmer who has applied for the PM-KISAN scheme and want to check your beneficiary status, you can follow these simple steps:

  • Visit the official PM-KISAN website https://pmkisan.gov.in/ Portal
  • You will see the map of India under Payment Success tab.
  • On the right hand side, there will be a yellow coloured tab called “Dashboard”
  • Click on Dashboard
  • After clicking, you will be taken to a new page
  • On the Village Dashboard tab, you will have to fill your complete details
  • Select the state, district, Sub-District and Panchayat
  • Then click on show button
  • After this you can choose your details

You can also check your status by entering your Aadhaar number, mobile number or account number on the “Farmers Corner” section of the website. You will see your status as “New”, “Pending”, “Success” or “Failed”.

If your status is “Success”, it means that you have received the installment money in your bank account. If your status is “Pending”, it means that your application is under process and you will receive the money soon. If your status is “Failed”, it means that there is some error or discrepancy in your application and you need to contact your nearest agriculture department or PM-KISAN helpline number 155261 or 1800115526 for rectification. If your status is “New”, it means that you have recently applied for the scheme and your application is yet to be verified.

Who are not eligible for the PM-KISAN scheme?

While lakhs of eager farmers are waiting for the disbursal of Rs 2,000 in their account, there are several farmers who are not eligible for the PM-KISAN scheme. Those excluded from the PM-KISAN include:

  • Institutional land holders
  • Farmer families holding constitutional posts
  • Serving or retired officers and employees of State or Central government as well as Public Sector Undertakings and Government Autonomous bodies
  • Professionals like doctors, engineers and lawyers
  • Retired pensioners with a monthly pension of over Rs 10,000
  • Those who paid income tax in the last assessment year

If you belong to any of these categories, you will not receive the PM-KISAN money.

What are the conditions for receiving the PM-KISAN money?

Even if you are eligible for the PM-KISAN scheme, there are certain conditions that you must fulfill to ensure that you receive the installment money without any hassle. These conditions are:

  • Linking your bank account with your Aadhaar card
  • Linking your bank account with NPCI
  • Completing e-KYC on PM-KISAN website

Linking your bank account with your Aadhaar card is mandatory for receiving the PM-KISAN money. This is to ensure that the money reaches the right person and to prevent any fraud or misuse of funds. The Aadhaar card also serves as a proof of identity and address for the farmers. If your bank account is not linked with Aadhaar, you may face problems in receiving the installment money.

Linking your bank account with NPCI is another important condition for receiving the PM-KISAN money. NPCI is an umbrella organization that operates various retail payment and settlement systems in India, such as UPI, IMPS, AEPS, etc. NPCI is responsible for transferring the PM-KISAN money from the central government to the farmers’ bank accounts through direct benefit transfer (DBT). If your bank account is not linked with NPCI, you may not receive the installment money or may receive it after a delay.

Completing e-KYC on PM-KISAN website is the third condition for receiving the PM-KISAN money. E-KYC stands for electronic know your customer, which is a process of verifying the identity and address of the customers using online methods. E-KYC helps in ensuring that the beneficiaries are genuine and eligible for the scheme. To complete the e-KYC process, you need to enter your Aadhaar number and other details on the website and verify them using an OTP sent to your registered mobile number. If the e-KYC process is not completed, you may not receive the installment money or may receive it after a delay.

Conclusion

The PM-KISAN scheme is a great initiative by the central government to provide income support and financial security to millions of farmers across the country. The 14th installment of the scheme will be released tomorrow, and you can check your beneficiary status online.

To ensure that you receive the installment money without any hassle, make sure that you fulfill these three conditions: linking your bank account with Aadhaar card and NPCI, and completing e-KYC on PM-KISAN website. You can also contact PM-KISAN helpline number 155261 or 1800115526 for any queries or issues regarding the scheme.
