Allu Arjun-starring “Pushpa 2: The Rule” is to be released on August 15, 2024. The much-awaited movie has some big names like Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna besides Allu Arjun.
After Pushpa: The Rise became a mega hit and one of the most talked-about entertainers; Allu Arjun’s fans have been looking forward to the sequel of the action-packed drama. The star has now revealed that the movie will come up on the big screen in the next year, coinciding with India’s Independence Day.
Pushpa 2 had reignited the anticipation in Allu Arjun’s fans who were floored by the star’s magical performance in the prequel. Now after the big announcement came from the horse’s mouth, they are eagerly waiting for its release date which happens to be on the Independence Day of the next year.
Makers Share Latest Posters
The makers of Pushpa 2 have shared a new poster of the movie along with its release date. The post reads: “Mark the Date 15th AUG 2024 – #Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide Pushpa Raj is coming back to conquer the box office”.
In the poster, Allu Arjun is seated in his famous Pushpa Raj look. Though his face is not shown in the poster, it is not difficult for his fans to identify their favourite actor. He is wearing three rings on his fingers and his hands have been the main focus of the poster.
Besides Allu Arjun, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will be seen in their reprising roles as Molleti Srivalli and SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat respectively.
Pushpa: The Blockbuster Hit
Immediately after its release in 2021, Pushpa became a blockbuster at the box office. The movie even won the National Award in the category of the Best Actor and the Best Music Director.
Pushpa created an unbelievable buzz in India and even did good business abroad. The masses almost went berserk over the on-line chemistry between its lead actors Allu Arjun and Pushpa Raj. All the songs became a hit and Oo Antava and Srivalli became a chartbuster.
The makers announced a sequel to Pushpa later and have started working on the project. Actress Rashmika Mandanna has also shared sneak-peaks into the movie’s set.
