The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has announced that the Preliminary Eligibility Test or PET 2023 for domicile candidates will be held on October 28 and October 29.
This test is conducted for Group C recruitment in different government departments across Uttar Pradesh. The PET exam gives opportunity to people looking for government jobs in different state departments.
Eligibility Criteria and Application Details
PET exam is conducted for domicile candidates who are looking for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates appearing for PET test will receive a PET certificate/score and it will remain valid for the next one year from the date of issue.
To be eligible for PET exam, candidates must:
Ø Have a high school leaving certificate or its equivalent or have a higher education degree
Ø Be 18-40 years as of July 1, 2023
The registration process started on August 1, 2023. Interested candidates must submit their applications via the office UPSSSC website. The application modification link on the website will remain active until September 6, 2023, which is the final date of application.
Overwhelming Response
As per the latest reports, more than 20 lakh eligible candidates have applied for the PET exam, which is a testament to the buzz around the preliminary selection process.
