Vivo T2 Pro 5G made its debut in India on Friday. This is the latest 5G smartphone from Vivo. The new Vivo T series handsets are available in two colours, coupled with an appealing curved AMOLED display. Under the cover, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC is the driving force for the Vivo T2 Pro 5G. It has 8GB of primary memory support. However, extended RAM feature allows the handset to use the virgin parts of the storage as extra memory to deliver improved performance.
The Chinese Brand’s latest launch comes with a 64-megapixel dual rear camera and runs on a 4, 600mAh battery coupled with 66W fast charging support. The smartphone looks like a rebadged variation of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G. The model with Rs 21, 999 price tag was launched in India last month

The base variant of Vivo T2 Pro 5G has a price tag of Rs. 23,999 whereas the top variant has a price tag of Rs. 24, 999. Both variants have 8 GB of RAM. However, storage capacity varies, with the base model having 128 GB of storage space and the top-end model having 256GB of storage space.
The latest launch is available in two colours – Dune Gold and Moon Black. It will be available at the Vivo’s India e-store, Flipkart and select retail stores from September 29.
Vivo announces an immediate discount of Rs. 2000 for those who will buy the handset using Axis and ICICI bank cards. The brand will also provide an extra exchange bonus of up to Rs. 1000.

The handset, weighing about 176 grams, features a dimension of 164.10×74.80×7.36mm.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. The dual-SIM (nano) model sports a 6.78-inch full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display having a refresh rate of 120HZ, an optimum brightness level of 1300 nits and 388 ppi of pixel density. For the selfie camera, the curved display features a centrally placed notch.
Under the cover, the smartphone draws power from a 4mm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and extended RAM up to 8GB. The smartphone has reportedly amassed 7, 20, 000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform. Furthermore, the Vivo phone is claimed to be the fastest handset under the price category of Rs. 25, 000.
The smartphone features a 3000mm square vapour chamber liquid cooling system. Playing games for hours may generate extensive heat. The cooling system takes care of thermal management during extensive usage of the handset.
The Vivo model sports a dual rear camera setup that features a 64-megapixel primary sensor coupled with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 2 megapixel bokeh shooter and f/1.79. The handset houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front, featuring an f/2.45aperture. The camera setup is compatible with different photography modes that include night mode, dual view, time-lapse video, slow motion, portrait among others. It packs 256GB of UFS2.2 storage.
If it comes to connectivity, the options include 5G, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Wi-Fi, Galileo, Glonass, Beidou and QZSS. Sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor and an accelerometer. The handset also features an in-display fingerprint scanner to identify authentic users.
The VIVO T2 Pro 5G runs on a 4,600mAh battery supporting 66W fast charging. The in-house fast-charging mechanism takes only 22 minutes to recharge the handset from nil to 50%. Similarly, the battery is claimed to support 56.85 hours of music playback on a single charge.
